Sudan: Khartoum to Host Conference of Arab Microfinance Network (Sanabil)

Memorandum of Understanding for Sanabel Microfinance Ninth Conference, hosted by Khartoum State at end of this month, was signed, in the presence of the Minister of Guidance and Social Development, Mashair Al-Doleib.
Head of Sanabel Network, Dr. Hassan Farid, signed on behalf of the network, as Director General of the Ministry of Guidance and Social Development, Al-Tijani Al-Sheikh signed on behalf of his ministry.
Al-Sheikh said that the conference will be honored by FVP, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, adding that a number of Arab institutions will attend the conference, where he considered it an opportunity to review the practical experiences of Khartoum State and Arab countries in the said area.
On his part, President of Sanabel, Dr. Hassan Farid expressed his thanks to Khartoum State for hosting the conference, pointing out that the conference is the largest annual event for them to present what is new in this area.
Member of Development Corporation, Yousif Salim considered that the organizing of the said conference in Sudan as it has a lot of experience in this area, stressing the need to establish a network for institutions working in the field of microfinance.
