Afrivol is not a legitimate organizaation. After arriving in Ghana, this organization did not setup the internship they had promised me. I had to leave the country early due to this, and they promised me a refund. They now refuse to contact me and I am now owed $1,000 that I will never see. Do not use Afrivol to volunteer or internship as it is an illegitimate organization that will take your money.

We are disappointed to hear that your experience was not to your expectations. However, each volunteer has an individual experience and we continue to support our volunteers to make their experience mutually beneficial. AfriVol takes criticism seriously, and will address these and other concerns. however, it is important to note that the vast majority of our volunteers have a good experience with us and there are many testimonials to support this claim.
